woest slaan de golven
de branding schuimt, kolkt en kotst
gestrande kwallen -
verlangend wachten zij op
die steeds bevrijdende vloed
(t17.15)
troebel en trillend
het zicht beperkt tot een meter
zwemmend op de tast
slechts eventjes maar, dolend
een onbekend universum
(t17.14)
een oud scheepswrak rust
begroeid met mossels en zeewier
woning van vissen
eeuwige bestemming van
sterfelijke landrotten
(t17.13)

the waves beat wildly
the surf foams, swirls and pummels
stranded jellyfish -
longingly they await
that ever-liberating flood
cloudy and vibrant
visibility limited to a meter
swimming by touch
just a short while, wandering
an unknown universe
an old ship wreck
overgrown with mussels and seaweed
housing for fish
eternal destination of
mortal landlubbers
the surf foams, swirls and pummels
stranded jellyfish -
longingly they await
that ever-liberating flood
cloudy and vibrant
visibility limited to a meter
swimming by touch
just a short while, wandering
an unknown universe
an old ship wreck
overgrown with mussels and seaweed
housing for fish
eternal destination of
mortal landlubbers
herinneringen

make me who I am young, free and without burden - then fading away gradually beyond my expiry whispering stretches the mountain wind through the branches along grass and heath - the larks dancing frivolously moving on the wind fumbling he is searching Haruki Murakami in that Norwegian forest - listening for melody or love, melancholy |
