Why the hell do we need robot artists? Will that be the future, museums where paintings of flesh-and-blood artists hang side by side to paintings made by artificial intelligence? In music the use of computerised instruments is fully accepted. Will the same occur in the fine arts? Are we going to distinguish between ‘real/human’ art and ‘unreal/artificial’ art? Will the difference be visible? How will it be received and appreciated by the art sector or the general public?
